MOVE: World Exploration with DVD

A learning picture book with the theme of world exploration.

The "MOVE" series of picture books uses visuals to spark children's interest and curiosity, leading them into the world of learning.
We planned this title with the hope that children would feel that "the world is vast, with diverse people and cultures."
"World Exploration" divides the world into six regions: Africa, Europe, Oceania, Asia, America, and the Polar Regions. It introduces the cultures of the world along with the history of exploration. From stories of famous explorers like Livingstone and Sven Hedin, to archaeological sites, and the lives of people in each region (food, festivals, housing, clothing, art), a wide range of topics are covered. Detailed and dynamic illustrations, along with careful explanations, are used throughout, with various devices and工夫 (creative touches) to excite children and pique their interest.

And of course, "MOVE World Exploration" also comes with a DVD containing valuable footage from NHK. What kind of research are modern explorers doing, and what is its purpose? The DVD, like the picture book, is enjoyable for both children and adults, covering topics such as mysterious phenomena occurring somewhere in the world that are difficult to explain.
